Recipe Roundup February 2017

Peppermint Sprinkle Popcorn (Pies and Plots) — I am intrigued.

SWEET POTATO PIE TIRAMISU (Grandbaby Cakes) — This has possibly enough flavor to cover the sweet potato taste, but I’m not sure.

Broccoli Rabe, Italian Sausage & Ricotta Pizza (Strawberry Plum) — Yummy! I need to make this for myself now that I’ve found sheep ricotta.

Salt And Pepper Crackers (Elana’s Pantry) — Salty foods are my favorites. And crunchy is always nice.

PORK RIB STEW WITH BEANS, TOMATOES AND SPINACH (The Endless Meal) — Long and slow cook means really great meat. This looks like a nice sturdy meal.

Quinoa Salad with Berries and Watermelon (Gluten Free Goddess) — I don’t like watermelon, but I am going to try this with cantelope instead. Once the season rolls around again.

Gluten-Free Peach Crisp Recipe (Gluten Free Goddess) — I think I might have highlighted this one before, but it deserves it. Time to start planning ahead for spring, given that it’s the middle of winter still.

Chocolate Chip Pretzel Cookies (La Casa de Sweets) — These are just begging to be made in time for that time of the month.

Cherry Chocolate Eton Mess (Food Babbles) — Death in a cup and I don’t care. I am serving this.

Cranberry-Orange Cornmeal Quick Bread (Strawberry Plum) — This looks like an intriguing bread to serve with stew.

Recipe Roundup December 2016

ferrero rocher cake recipe (Mom’s Dish) — Have you ever heard of binge foods? Those foods that once you start eating them, you’ll eat the whole thing, compulsively, because it’s there and you can’t stop yourself? Is that just me? This, this is a binge food. Full stop. I cannot make this unless I have a bunch of people coming over.

Lamb Bolognese Sauce with Peas & Mint (Strawberry Plum) — This looks awesome. It cooks forever, but it looks like a quick prep time.

Irish Cream Coffee Cupcakes & Marshmallow Top (Melangery) — The Marshmallow top is especially intriguing.

Potato Chip Pretzel Caramel Corn (Food Babbles) — PAAAAAAARTAAAAAAAY

Paleo Salmon Kabobs Recipe (Food Fanatic) — These look awesome.

Recipe Roundup November 2016

Mongolian Beef (Ang Sarap) — I will try this one with lamb instead of beef. It looks wonderful. Oh, and sesame oil instead of peanut oil. Did I mention those pesky allergies ever? *bats lashes innocently*

Almond Butter, Dark Chocolate & Coconut Cookies (Strawberry Plum) — These look wonderfully decadent.

Butterscotch Caramel Peach Cobbler (Parsley Sage and Sweet) — This is not something I’ve seen before and looks like something my friends would love.

Salmon Tartare with Sesame Crackers in Blue Ice (Melangery) — Now, I think I could get a few of my friends to eat these, but I’m not sure.

Blackberry Glazed Ribs (Cakewalker) — I am trying to expand my palet. I’m not always a fan of ribs, but these look interesting.

Recipe Roundup October 2016

Gluten-Free Pumpkin Streusel Muffins (Gluten Free Goddess) — I need to try these for my customers and my friends with multiple allergins. Not me, of course, because I cannot abide pumpkin or sweet potatoes or yams. I love the spices though…

Cranberry Braised Turkey Wings – Pressure Cooker Recipe (Hip Pressure Cooking) — A simple pressure cooker recipe that I don’t need to do any substitutions to? Yes, please!

Cinnamon-Toasted Coconut Brigadeiros (Food Babbles) — These look tasty and like a really good Halloween party food.

Black Forest Mini Pavlova With Chocolate Mousse (Melangery) — This looks like it’s deadly good.

Chocolate Cinnamon Bread (Diary of a Teenage Baker) — Yes please. This looks like a wonderful mid-day treat with a cuppa.

Recipe Roundup September 2016

Cake Filled Peanut Butter Cups (Vanilla Sugar Blog) — These would kill me, but I could make them for other people… Maybe…

Toasted Ciabatta Sandwich with Bacon and Brie (Simple Comfort Food) — Deadly deliciousness. At least I found that vegan cheese that doesn’t kill me. Then again, maybe I could just substitute goat cheese?

Apple and Cinnamon Crumble a Secret Recipe (Pass the Sushi) — I need these. Without the raisins, but that shouldn’t change the cooking. Maybe I could use currants?

Apple Cider Soda (Elana’s Pantry) — This looks really refreshing and perfect for the hot VA fall.

Cinnamon Chai Cream Pie (Pass the Sushi) — Must try this. Then, I can fuss with it until it doesn’t have things which won’t kill me.
