Occupation Continues Despite or because of setbacks?

So, the NYPD swept the park. That didn’t seem to even make people blink.

The one that that *did* piss me off though? They threw stuff out. They didn’t confiscate it to a secure location where it could be picked up. (Um, like evidence should be, right?) No, they threw it out. Several thousand books *poof*. Tents. *poof*. And really, it’s a non-violent protest and you go in swinging? Not cool.

UC Davis pepper spraying incident?

NOT COOL. Not good. Abuse of effing power. So, guess what, someone who was sort of biased, but still reserving judgment is now firmly a supporter of #OWS et al.
